The Math of Giving
* All sales data is updated monthly after Amazon closure.
Carried Over: Unused book sales from previous months that contribute to this month's total.
Actual Sales: The exact number of books sold this month, verifiable via Amazon reports.
Rounding: If we don't hit the minimum to plant a tree, we round up the numbers and front the cost.
Total Trees: (Carried Over + Actual Sales + Rounding) ÷ 5. We guarantee at least 1 tree planted per month.
Rollover Balance: If the total books aren't an exact multiple of 5, the remainder rolls over to the next month.
Receipt: Proof of donation to Instituto Refloresta.
