The Story Behind the Name
Olivetree grew naturally from my family name, and Lina is the name used by the people who truly know me. Together, they feel personal, meaningful, and true to the way I want this work to grow.
Lina Olivetree brings those pieces together: my nickname, my family name, and the olive tree as a symbol of growth, grounding, and renewal.
As a Brazilian creative building a side-income business, I wanted the brand to carry more than products. I wanted it to carry a reason for existing, one that could support forests, communities, and a slower, more intentional way of making.
That is why the environmental cause is not an add-on here. It is the heart.

Our commitment is simple: every 5 items sold helps fund the planting of 1 tree.
This isn't an extra. It's the heart of the brand.

For every set of 5 items sold, part of that revenue is set aside for reforestation and applied by the 5th business day of the following month.
Those donations are currently directed to Instituto Refloresta, which supports the planting of native trees in Brazilian ecosystems that need restoration.

Instituto Refloresta is the organization currently selected to receive these reforestation donations. Their work focuses on planting native trees and helping restore living ecosystems in Brazil.

Why Brazil?
Brazil is personal to this brand. It is where my roots are, and it is home to forests whose health shapes biodiversity, climate, and local communities in powerful ways.
Supporting reforestation here lets Lina Olivetree connect creativity with heritage. The products can take many forms, but the cause always comes back to honoring the land, language, and living systems that shaped me.
